Button Brownies Filled With Love

Ahhhh, snow. Fluffy, white, frigid flakes falling constantly. With blustery winds, it's practically snowing sideways. And we know what that means...icy roads. And we know what that means....SNOW DAY! Except, it was so cold out today I couldn't go sledding which made me fall apart in boredom. I checked my email twenty times and then watched Julie and Julia the movie(much better the second time) and was then stuck. What is a girl to do when crammed inside all day?? Bake! So I raided the cupboard and found a brownie mix and a bag of Christmas candy. SO, I made what I now call, love brownies, because they are filled with kisses, literally. I couldn't decide between that name and brownie buttons, which they also look like when they are done baking.
Makes about 24-30 miniature brownies

Ingredients:
1 bag Hershey's Mint Truffle Kisses(I only used about 30 kisses but they are good so, trust me, you'll want a whole bag.)
1 brownie mix plus ingredients to make brownies

FIRST, whip up the brownies following the directions on the back. Using a boxed mix is the easiest thing on a snow day :) Then fill a mini muffin pan with mini baking cups, if you have mini baking cups. If not, just spray the mini muffin pan with non-stick spray. NOTE: if you don't have a mini muffin pan, then you can follow the same directions, filling each cup 2/3 full and you will have to bake them for about 30 minutes. Next, fill each cup in the pan with about 1 tablespoon of batter. I had enough batter for the whole pan, plus a little extra so I used a regular sized muffin pan to use up the rest. Unwrap about 30 mint kisses. These kisses are so good! They are like regular Hershey's kisses but have a little pocket of mint stuff in the middle. Stick a kiss in each cup and press it down so a small tip is still showing. Sorry, picture's a little blurry :)You could easily use this recipe with any kisses. Stick in the 350 degree oven for about 25 minutes or until they are cooked in the center. Don't be fooled, if you use the stick-a-toothpick-in-the-middle-to-see-if-they-are-done technique, the toothpick may come out with a bunch of chocolate on it but that's just because the kisses melt. Let cool and dig in! For maximum enjoyment, eat while watching a really good(or cheesy) movie.
