Ingredients:
1 cup Granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups all-purpose flour
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place sugars, butter, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl. Mix on medium speed on a mixer for 30 seconds. Stop and scrape bowl. Turn to high and mix for 3o seconds. Stop and scrape bowl. In a separate bowl mix the baking soda, salt and flour and mix with a spoon. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing them together at the same time. Mix on high speed for 30 seconds. Add chocolate chips and mix slowly for 15 seconds. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet about 2 inches apart and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven and let sit for about five minutes. Then remove the cookies from the baking sheet and cool on wire racks. Serve and enjoy!
Yields about 54 cookies
